Our Youth Are Awesome!

"Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12

What God Means to Me and Is Doing In My life ~
Morgan G.

If you search "God" on Google, then you will find this definition, "God (noun), a superhuman being or spirit being worshipped or having power over nature or human fortunes."  While this can be true, I don't believe God can even be defined. He is so vast, glorious, and profound there's not a definition out there that can accurately describe Him.  God is also described differently from every person's perspective.  What God means to me may be different from what God means to you.  I know what God means to me.  God is my Creator, Savior, Refuge, Father; and while these help you to see a glimpse of what God means to me, He means so much to me I can't explain it.  But how I live my life, I hope, can reflect on what God means to me.  I try to pursue God and let Him work in my life.  I have big plans in my future to let God live through me.  And sometimes God works through me when I don't think He is. I gave my life to Jesus when I was young. So I've been walking with Christ and struggling with certain things and I have come to a bold decision to stay pure and to keep my body pure until marriage. I feel like this is one of the important decisions I will make to follow Christ and let Him continue working through me. ~~

Rev. Dale Buchanan, Youth Pastor
From Sermon Preached 9-17-17

"We all would like a perfect place. There is a perfect place. 'Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." John 14:1-3
